1-on-1 Presentation Coaching

Private, custom-built coaching for the moment that matters most.

Board pitches. Keynotes. Investor meetings. Executive interviews. Media appearances. Wedding speeches. The presentations you only get one shot at.

For those moments, you do not want a workshop. You want a coach focused entirely on you, your material, and the outcome that matters.

Who 1-on-1 coaching is for

Private coaching is the right choice when the moment is specific and generic practice is not enough. Clients come to us with one of the following.

  • A specific high-stakes presentation: board, investor pitch, keynote, industry stage, town hall, panel
  • Executive presence work, often after a promotion or an expanded role
  • Media training, including press, earnings calls, podcasts, and crisis communications
  • Senior job interviews and board interviews
  • One-time personal moments: wedding speeches, eulogies, retirement and ordination talks
  • Persistent delivery habits you want to fix: filler words, monotone, pacing, nervous tells
  • Confidential or sensitive content that cannot be practiced in a group

What we work on

Content and message

Opening lines that earn attention. A core message the audience can repeat. Structure that holds up under questioning. Calls to action that produce the next step.

Delivery

Voice and pacing. Body language, gestures, eye contact. Filler words. Energy and presence. The things the audience is actually reading whether you know it or not.

Situation-specific skills

Q&A handling, including the question you do not want. Panel dynamics. On-camera technique. How to handle nerves, blanks, and the unexpected.

Slides

Honest feedback on what to fix and why, so your visuals support the message instead of competing with it.

Coaching Options

Format options

Pick the format that fits the work. If none of these fit, we will build what does.

1 hour

Single 1-hour session

A focused tune-up, often the day before a presentation.

  • Polishing the Delivery: A final “stress test” of your opening and closing to ensure you start and end with maximum impact.
  • Nervous Energy Management: Immediate techniques to handle last-minute jitters and ground your physical presence.
  • The “One Big Thing”: Identification of the single most important adjustment that will yield the biggest result in the room.
4 Hour Bundle

Four 1-hour sessions

Skill development over time, common for executive presence and media work.

  • Habit Transformation: Consistent “reps” over several weeks to permanently eliminate filler words and monotone delivery.
  • Executive Presence Building: Focused work on body language, gravitas, and commanding a room (or a camera).
  • Adaptive Media Training: Specialized coaching for varying formats, from podcasts and panels to formal press appearances.

America’s Most-Reviewed Presentation Skills Training Company

1,200+ verified five-star Google reviews. Read them yourself. Built over 20+ years of helping professionals and teams communicate with greater clarity, confidence, and impact.

How it works

We coach skill, not theory. Confidence rises to the level of skill, so we build the skill first and the confidence follows.

Diagnose

You present your material as you would deliver it today, often on video, so you can see what the audience actually sees.

Coach

Specific, second-by-second feedback. Not general encouragement. The exact moments the message lands, the exact moments it does not, and a clear next move on each one.

Reps

You present again with the changes. Then again. One or two focus points at a time so the new patterns take hold.

Frequently asked questions about private coaching

Questions specifically about how 1-on-1 coaching works. For general questions about our programs, workshops, and policies, see our main FAQ.

A workshop teaches foundational presentation skills in a small group, with shared exercises and a set curriculum. Private coaching works on your specific material, your specific situation, and your specific habits, with a coach focused entirely on you. Many clients use both. A workshop to build the foundation, and private coaching to prepare for a specific high-stakes presentation.

Yes. Private coaching is built around a single senior trainer who stays with you from the first session to the last. Continuity is part of the value. Your coach learns your patterns, your material, and your audience, and that knowledge carries forward across every session.

We match based on the situation. The type of presentation, the industry, the audience, and the skills you want to build all factor in. Executives preparing for investor roadshows, media appearances, board communications, and personal high-stakes moments all benefit from coaches with relevant backgrounds. The match is made after the initial consultation, not before.

Yes. That is the point of private coaching. Bring your slides, notes, script, video of past run-throughs, and anything else that helps your coach see what you are working with. We coach the actual material you are going to deliver.

Yes, routinely. We sign NDAs for sensitive content, regulated industries, pre-public material, board-level information, and personal or family communications. Confidentiality is the default whether an NDA is signed or not. Many of our private clients bring material they have not shared with their own teams yet.

Usually yes. For urgent work the week of, the night before, or the morning of a major presentation, we move the schedule to make it work. Same-day and night-before coaching is one of the most common requests we get from executives with tight calendars and high-stakes presentations.

In-person private coaching is available at our Lakewood, Colorado headquarters and onsite nationwide when appropriate. For most out-of-state clients, live virtual coaching offers the same quality with more scheduling flexibility. We will recommend the format that fits the situation.

Pricing is based on the format and the scope of the engagement. Single sessions, multi-session packages, and intensives are priced separately. For ongoing executive coaching or multi-month engagements, we build custom quotes. Tell us what you are preparing for and we will send a clear quote with no pressure to commit.
