Mike Fruciano
Founder, CEO, and Lead Trainer
Mike Fruciano is the founder, CEO, and lead trainer of Effective Presentations, one of the most-reviewed presentation-skills training companies in the United States. For more than 20 years, he has trained professionals and teams across virtually every industry, from Fortune 500 corporations and federal government agencies to global energy companies, helping them communicate with clarity, confidence, and credibility when it matters most.
Before founding Effective Presentations in 2004, Mike served as National Sales Director for the Zig Ziglar Performance Group, where he worked directly with Zig Ziglar, widely regarded as one of the most influential motivational speakers and trainers of his era. Prior to that, Mike spent a decade as National Sales Director for one of the countryβs largest insurance companies, where he led and trained a sales force that generated more than $12 million in monthly revenue. That experience building people, developing skills, and driving measurable results became the foundation for everything Effective Presentations does today.
The results Mike produces are documented. After delivering training for Diamondback Industries, the companyβs COO called Mike personally before the yearβs end to tell him that Mike Fruciano and Effective Presentations had been the single biggest win of their year, a year in which revenue climbed 40% after being significantly down. That kind of result is not an isolated case. Mike has worked with Shell Dredging for more than 15 years, a relationship built on consistent performance at the highest level. Richard Shell flies Mike around the world to lead large-scale presentations for the company from Australia and Canada to Papua New Guinea, Suriname, and beyond. That kind of long-term trust says more than any marketing claim could.
What separates Mike from most trainers is what he took from his time with Zig Ziglar. It wasnβt a technique or a curriculum. It was a standard. Ziglar was the most consistent man Mike had ever been around, consistent in how he showed up, how he treated people, and how he performed, regardless of the room or the circumstances. Mike has carried that standard into every workshop, every coaching session, and every client relationship at Effective Presentations. It is why the company has earned more than 1,200 five-star Google reviews and why clients call him back year after year.
Mikeβs training style reflects the same discipline he brings to everything outside the office. He is an elder at Redemption Hills Church, a role that demands the same qualities that make a great trainer: steady leadership, clear communication, and consistent presence, regardless of the audience. On any given week, you will find him logging miles on the Peloton, mountain biking Colorado trails, or competing in pickleball. That consistency between who he is in the room and who he is outside of it is what clients notice, and what keeps them coming back.
Mike is based in Lakewood, Colorado, and trains professionals and teams nationwide and internationally.
